I've had mine for about 6 months now and it has been terrific. I bought mine from nysound.com for just over $1000 with shipping. It came with a 110 to 220 v transformer since it is a 220 V version. I believe if you buy through Acoustic Sounds you will get a 110 v version but will also pay $1800.I really like to tubed output - the main reason I bought this player. It sounds very musical and natural (through my all-tubed front end and amps). It has played every disc I've put into it, SACD and CD alike with no issues. There is one idiosyncracy with this player that you should be aware of though. On SACD's that have music that continues through the track numbers, there is a very brief interruption in the sound (akin to what happens with an Ipod but less obvious). I wrote to nysound about this thinking that there might be a firware update to correct it but they just blamed to SACD. I am sure that is not the problem because I have heard the problem on two SACD's I've owned. Since the vast majority of SACD's don't have continuous music playing through the tracks, this is not a big issue for me (I listen 95% to classical). There is no comparable issue with playing CD's thought the tracks.
So, there you have my experience to date. I hope it continues.
