Update Cary 306 SACD

Friends,

I just recived my Cary 306 SACD player back from Cary, all problems have been resolved, no skipping, no door problems and so far the last track has played until the final note faded out.

Now all I have to do is wait for the unit to burn in again, it now in its bright stage, a few more days it will balance out between the dark (when new) and the bright, then it should settle somewhere right in between the two extrems.

Sonicly this is unit is hard to beat regardless of money spent, the unit sounds just that good, this is by far one of the best sounding digital units I have heard to date, including Linn, Reymo, Accuphase, Sony SCD1 and many others.

The unit is transprent, yet musical, who you hear just sounds true and right, it really is worth every penny on the $6,000 asking price, in fact $10,000 would be a fair price for it.

We may be in the golden years of digital recordings, just like the LP's of the late 50's and early 60's. I just picked up "Blowing the Fuse" series on Bear Family Records, if you want to hear how really good music could be recorded, purchase the set from 1953-1960, who won't believe your ears.

This set also will show you how far digital has come. Rhino records cannot touch the quality of the Bear Family recording, these cd's have been an eye opener for me.

Give Cary 306 SCAD unit a listen, just make sure it been played for a few weeks to make sure it is somewhat burned in, it will be worth your time.

Great Job Cary Audio
