Re: Why some SACD is not playable on all SACD player?

Why don't you take a look at the playing surface of the disc and see if it's clean?

My experience is that the SACD layer of some discs is more vulnerable to smudges and the like, but that the CD layer is pretty robust. Assuming that your machine is working ok with other hybrids, that leaves open the possiblity that this disc is simply defective.

Can you try it in another CD player, just to see if the CD layer reads?
