I really don't recall reading many posts about this one. I bought it over the weekend and I done good! :)
It is with Leon Botstein and the London Symphony Orchestra. Included is the Shostakovich "Theme & Variations, Op.3" classical work. It is a work I'm unfamiliar with as well as the Popov symphony. I enjoyed the music from both.
Both classical pieces I felt gave the wow factor for sound quality. I listened to the recording in multichannel and here is why I would highly recommend it: I had the Sony DVP NS775 MSRP $129 player hooked up from watching a movie the previous night and from some prior SACD listens and this is what I utilized to listen to the recording. I cannot wait to try it on the Sony XA777ES!!!! :)))
