Re: Sony SCD 777ES Used Value?

I have owned a stock 777 for the last few years. I would agree with Chris. If these things were cars, there would have been a total recall. I really enjoy the unit but mine loses it mind frequently. No disc, or won't read toc on sacd but will play cd layer, vice versa, show a toc of a different disc while playing another (a first for me on that one) and makes a whirring noise loading and unloading. I deal with it and will send it in when it just flat out refuses. Thank God for SOTA turntables.

I know that SCD-1 that sold for five hundred bucks (worked with issues like mine) lasted about five minutes on Gon, I would have jumped on that in a microsecond but I was late for the date.
