Why should it be expected to play defective discs?

67.184.30.31

As Dimitry pointed out, the problem has to do with disks that are out of round (i.e. defective). I have played over 100 cd's on my unit without any problems whatsoever. In fact, I recently tried to jar the player by lifting and droping the front end a small amout while playing a disc and I could not get it to interrupt the playing. I think that is a testament to GOOD isolation design - not bad design as you so smugly assert.
