My apologies, Mr. Owl. My posting activities have been a bit sporadic lately.

I've ordered the Abbado Brahms from MDT, and it's crossing the waves at this moment (I hope). After an audition I'll share my thoughts.

BTW, I heartily concur on that Haitink Alto Rhapsody on the Orfeo label. A largely unknown gem in the Brahms catalog, IMO.
