I have a DVP 9000 ES which I had my dealer send in. They fixed something in the laser and it worked well for a few weeks. Then it went back to not recognizing SACDs on hybrids. Right now, it has intermittent problems and some discs just will never be recognized as SACDs. I think there is a design flaw in these Sony players. Someone said it is a heat problem and I now turn the player off. Still a problem though with some discs, although fewer intermittents.
