For The Girl from Ipanema, do check out the Stan Getz live version at Carnegie. Antonio Calos Jobim is right there in the living room. And Astrud Gilberto, with her rather limited vocal range, sounds oh so sweet. Stan's haunting, set back solo needs no editorializing.
