Do your comments apply equally to equipment that has "soft-start" ?I have an all-tube phonostage, which I usually turn on Friday evenings and leave on all weekend, until I go to bed Sunday night. That's because most of my record listening is on the weekends, and I think the thing sounds best after it's been on a 1/2 hour or so.
It has a 'soft-start' circuit.
