You cannot extrapolate geometrically as I did, that's not how things go in real life. Plus, I really think your 240 figure probably represented considerably more than a month. I think things are holding pretty steady.I've got to say, however, there are not as many new SACDs on the shelves of my local source (Tower) as there used to be. Whether this represents Tower losing interest due to poor sales or whether this represents fewer actual American releases, I cannot say. But my own purchases are way down. For all the new releases, there just aren't that many that interest me enough to mail order from Europe.
Plus, I've started exploring music again, for instance all the best rock releases of 2005, and you can't do that with SACD.
