New high resolution SACD releases, players and technology.

I received my copy of this 2 SACD Hyperion set yesterday afternoon. I was not prepared for how good it would be. I was equally impressed with the Paganini Rhapsody, which in this version easily bests the other SACD version I have of this peice (Werner Haas with the Frankfurt RSO on Pentatone's RQR series).
David Hurwitz, of ClassicsToday.com, says this is the best set of Rachmaninov Piano Concertos ever recorded, as I found out by doing a little research after listening to the discs myself.
If Multi-channel is important to you, this may not be the set for you. From what I read, the perspective is too distant, losing detail and impact. However, if you can play the 2-channel SACD layer, I would highly recommend it.
