The only works of interest missing from SACD for me are PROKOFIEV's Scythian Suite (which MLP should be releasing anytime) and LISZT's Piano Concertos Nos. 1 & 2.I have the COMPLETE orchestral works of Rachmaninoff and Grieg, all of Mahler's Symphonies, all 16 of Shostakovich Symphonies (the 15 numbered ones and the String Symphony) plus most of his Concertos, Film Music, Symphonic Poems, Ballet and Overtures on SACD. All told I have over 300 Classical SACDs with very little duplication.
Better than George Lloyd? Haydn? Mozart? Beethoven?
Not better but different Carl Davis is a FILM COMPOSER!! And what is your problem with 20th and 21st century composers such as George Lloyd? Why must you insist Classical Composers be long dead before you give them any respect?
You used to be the Audio Cheapskate I thought you would jump at $5.37 SACDs, and Membran has the major classical works as well, they have 62 titles already released with 88 more coming at $5.37 each! And you have the gull to come here with your bald face lies?
Go bury yourself somewhere please and leave us alone.
