...There's a great CD of live music by Rahsaan Roland Kirk called "Bright Moments". One of the songs on there is called "Fly Town Nose Blues", in which he plays the nose flute. But before the song, he does a brief talk, dedicated to the nose. It begins like this:"We're gonna feature the nose at this time.
The nose...knows."Funny stuff. It's a great album - probably Rahsaan's most accessible work. In the song "If I Loved You", there is the most incredible example of recirculatory (sp?) breathing on tenor saxophone I've ever heard.
