It's hard to imagine wanting to resemble a "mixing/mastering engineer from Mars" in the workplace. Wearing a pair of huge HD-800s (or something similar) would do just that - especially if you are a smaller person.
I actually like the way the Phiatons sound, and they do look pretty good when worn. They are not as transparent sounding as the better, more expensive headphones out there but they do have a nice tonal balance and are non-fatiguing over time (unlike some of the super, hi-resolution "flagship" models out there today).
Brand new Modernas can be found for as little as $125 shipped on ebay, while $200 is the more typical retail price...
