I had read that recabling the TH900 Fostex wasn't needed as they come with good cable, which is true, they come with good cable but the new Whiplash Audio gold micro gold plated silver is better.

I hear more resolution without the sound becoming bright or harsh. More control on the bass and transparency, on well recorded music, is improved because there seem to be more air and space. Soundstage is about the same but I can hear the echo slap from the stage more easily.

This has been a good upgrade for me.
