ive been fighting the ambience sound for months. everything from using more amps to get the level as loud as the fronts.. but I hear 2 different mixes.half sounds good the other like crap. I use extra centers in the back that helps some.I did not want to use 4 good sounding towers to hear ambience that was not as loud as the fronts.
this new way is better sounding I can control the front volume rear volume * the ambience volume thats in the front height speakers & the rears. I have some opera discs that I dont recall having ambience in the rears.
I only want to recreate what I want to hear. I like ambience but I want to control what speakers gets that info. the ambience gets the wost sounding speakers now. If I had more room Id put those speakers farther away from the sweat spot. for now the 2 center heights work ok but I dont like it very loud. thanks for the post I was just hoping audassy would do something to the rears.
ps I did get those wagner opera ring discs it is the right order order of playback. I forgot I have not received the last one or my money back from ebay. I better check on that.
mch dvd-a mch sacd & blu-ray concerts rule.
