Very high quality recordings are still being released by AIX Records, but it's not mainstream music. I have several of their releases and I can tell you that they are audiophile quality 24/96 material. And Mark Waldrep says there's no watermarking on his recordings: this in itself disqualifies many other companies' DVD-A releases from being true High Resolution audiophile quality product.
AIX is also releasing in the Blu-ray format. I talked to Mark Waldrep about his choice of using Dolby TrueHD and he assured me that he sets Dialog Normalization to OFF (-31dB) in the encoder.
