Help with Ayre C5-xe MP weird DVD A issue

New DVD-Audio music releases and talk about the latest players.

See if anyone here can offer any ideas on this problem....just purchased a C5-xe MP (used). SACD and redbook playback are a-ok. Whenever I play anything in the DVD format, whether DVD-A or DVD-video, the playback is slow, kind of like slowing an LP down slightly so that all music/voices are lower in tone. I tested several DVD-A discs and finally I put a stopwatch to a song. The DVD-A version "lost" about 9 seconds per minute compared to the redbook version, so basically, it seemes to be reading the discs slower!! I have contacted Ayre and they're looking into this for me, I was just wondering if anyone else has had an experience like this or could offer any advice. Thanks in advance!
