Future of Hi def audio??

New DVD-Audio music releases and talk about the latest players.

It seems like Hi-rez Hi-way and DVD-Audiobahn may as well merge.

Or this should be cross posted.

Does anyone know what the future of Hi-Res Audio is??

I've heard tales of guys Peermix, working on creating Hi Res music servers for audio file clients. That seems a little out of reach for the average Hifi enthusiast.

Unfortunately the majority of the audience is not listening, and it seems like physical audio medium is on its way out...
