I think by definition a disc is a DVD-A if it has content in the Audio part of a digital versatile disc. the content here could be uncompressed 24b/192kHz/2,0, or MLP compressed 24/96/5.1usually it would also have a lossy 5.1 track in the -V part (DD or DTS), and sometimes you get an uncompressed hirez 2.0 track in the -V part as well.
