Thanks for the input.I currently have a Denon DVD-2200 hooked up, but it's silver and I'm getting tired of silver. (Poor excuse to want to buy new gear when the old gear is still decent, I know. But I just don't think I can wait for that universal HD-DVD/BluRay/SACD/DVD-Audio/Video player to appear. And, with my luck, it'll only be available in silver.) I also have a Pioneer 563a that I used for a while. It wasn't the greatest, but it brought me a fair amount of enjoyment considering its price. I'd probably be willing to just switch back to using the 563a if only it weren't also silver. Oh, well.
The new Pioneer Elite 46av looks promising in that it's black and I think its small footprint would probably allow me to someday upgrade to a cheap HD-DVD or BluRay player for movies, yet still keep the 46av hooked up via the analog 5.1 for the hi-rez DVD-Audio and SACD.
