Of all the DVD Audio disks you've heard, which one has the greatest need for a "do over" surround mix? My vote goes to Queensryche's Empire. The surround mix on this is unimaginative, and at some points during the program, it is outright annoying. I'm sorry, but placing the crash cymbals directly in the rear speakers is just plain wrong. I don't mind a little bleed-through from cymbals placed in the front, but direct rear placement is distracting in the worst way.
