the only discs i have or have seen that reliably all the time in just about any machine, that output 24/96 is the Classic Music DAD/HDAD's. My Marantz DV9500 will not output 24/96 with any disc. Maybe I am doing something wrong. My $50 Sony DVD player will output 24/96 if it is there and not copy guarded. I think the ability to output 24/96 depends on the disc and the machine. Will be interesting to see how the AIX discs I have coming perform. Most DualDiscs and DVD-A's, DVD-V's will not let you do it. Pisser ain't it?
