Hi,
What's sonically wrong with the following:Turntable to phono preamp to amplifier, tape outs of the amp into the analog in R+L of a DVD recorder?
This uses the internal A/D of the recorder. What results is a pretty good sounding DVD of an LP (I've tried it). Seems this would be sonically superior to something made through a noisy PC environment.
Disadvantages: no input on track information possible, no way to eliminate pops and clicks.
Any thoughts?
