how did you get Dolby Digital with Video to sound so good? This is the best sounding Dolby Digital I've ever heard? My Toshiba 5700 DVD-Audio player doesn't do "dts" which I am sure is even better.I do have one question though, on many of the AIX releases the 24/96 2 channel high resolution is on the same side as the DVD-Video performaces, is there a way to play the 24/96 2 channel high resolution at the same time as the Video?
These are the AIX DVD-Audios that came yesterday with comments of the ones I've heard so far:
AIX 80037 - Bad Haggis - I just now got around to buying this one, don't wait it is really cool. Think Scottish music on adrenaline.
AIX 80043 - The Brand New Opry - My goodness this is the best sounding DVD-Audio I have ever heard, it sounds REAL. And it's the most exciting Bluesgrass/Country recording I own. This is gonna stay one of my favorites for a long time to come.
AIX 80033 - Steve Pierson and Blues Head - I'm listening to this one now and it is really good blues.
AIX 80035 - The Emil Richards/Joe Porcaro Big Band - will listen tomorrow.
AIX 80040 - Vantage Point - will listen tomorrow
AIX 82001 - High Resolution Audio Experience - Various AIX Records Artists - excellent and well filled out sampler audio and video, 29 selections.
AIX 82000 - Start Here - Various AIX Records Artists another excellent sampler.
I enjoy the Video programs as much or more than the Audio only programs.
Mark you are all set for Blu-Ray or HD-DVD as you can combine the high-resolution audio with the Video of your programs. AIX is the only company I know of that 100% of their releases could be high-resolution audio plus video. But I agree you should wait until one of the formats is well established and the other falls by the wayside. I don’t understand why the government cannot mandate a single standard for high resolution video that they did for HDTV? Waiting is the best as I don’t want you to loose a ton of money or jeopardize your company in another video war.
Did anyone else get Mark's offer of 5 for $100.00 plus 2 free samplers and free shipping? And which ones did you get?
Happy listening,
Teresa
