Hey guys, I'm new to this hi-rez stuff. I recently purchased a 24/96 capable Camelot Uther DAC to make my regular old redbook CDs sound better. Now I'm thinking... should I get a DVD player that has a 24/96 output and hook it into my Camelot Dac? That way I could purchase some 24/96 DVD audio discs.
My question is... what is a decent and cheap way to get a DVD player with an appropriate output for a 24/96 DAC? Does any DVD player with a digital audio out work for this purpose? Also, I see that most posts here about DVD players are regarding one box units. Do any of you guys still run a separate DAC?
