I have not listened to the CD at all. Don't have LPs. DVD-A seems much better than some of the songs on I have on an old greatest hits CD. I found the surround OK but for the most part not to my tastes (not ambient enough). To me, I wish they would sell these things w/o the CD. The Neil Young Greatest Hits on DVD-V is another example. I like the 2-channel hi-rez but never listened to the CD, but did you the CD while I was listening to the hi-rez to make a copy for the car.
