Panasonic DVD-S97 was already on my list of choices, but it got some considerable contenders. I'll try to audition The Cambridge Audio 540D Azur and Rotel RDV1060. Arcam DV79 is an interesting choice and I'll keep an eye for an inexpensive used ones. New DV79 is unfortunately too pricey for my wallet. I didn't even knew Arcam and Rotel support DVD-A nowadays, but I'm glad they do.
Have to considet that small monitor too, if the player won't have easy enough access to stereo tracks.
