From the News section of the official Flaming Lips website :" 21 November 2005 : The Soft Bulletin 5.1 - Coming January 31st . The Flaming Lips' landmark album The Soft Bulletin will be released in glorious 5.1 surround sound on January 31st . It will also include bonus materials like album outtakes , radio sessions and videos " .

The Flaming Lips - Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots DVD-A has best ever 5.1 multichannel mix . The 5.1 multichannel mix for The Soft Bulletin DVD-A should be excellent . Two songs from The Soft Bulletin , " Race For The Prize " and " Waitin' For A Superman " , are already available in 5.1 Dolby Digital on The Flaming Lips - VOID DVD , which was released several months ago .
