Not to bore the regulars but I was wondering what the best choice would be for a DVD player that had volume/gain control to play redbook CD's? I want to set up a system in my kitchen using a pair of German mono bloc studio amps with no gain control, driven exclusively by the DVD player. The Toshiba 3960 is out of the running, as it has no provision to attenuate the signal. Any suggestions?
