I am auditionintg this player and I can clearly hear a purring sound from inside the machine that i believe might be produced by it's drive mechanism. Have any other Arcam cd/dvd users noticed this?
The strange thing is that the disc does not have to be spinning and one can still hear it. BTW stunning picture in component and also a great CD transport....
