The fact that manufacturers warn not to play DualDisc on their equipment is enough for me. You are willing to risk your equipment to support their greed?
The risk, if it even exists, is minimal. We're talking about mass-produced consumer electronics equipment, not Ming Dynasty vases. I'll bet you Ebay your DVD-A player before mine breaks.Record companies are greedy regardless of format. In that regard, there's no difference between DVD-A and DualDisc.
Got the numbers here on the autobahn (sic).
I wouldn't rely on undocumented information posted on any internet board. As Reagan said, "Trust, but verify."I supposed (sic) you thought the Ford Pinto would never be recalled.
I don't see how this is pertinent. If you're trying to launch an ad hominem attack, you'll have to do a lot better than that. NHTSA forced the recall of the Pinto. NHTSA has nothing to do with consumer audio equipment.DualDisc will be recalled and the companies involved will lose millions.
Merely an opinion on your part. Consumer products don't get recalled unless there is a risk of injury or death to the consumer. You haven't established that such a risk exists. All defective products will eventually be taken off the market. It's a simple truth.
Well, Windows has been around for better than 10 years, and it doesn't look like it's going anywhere! But you want to by (sic) a defective product go ahead.
You haven't established that the product is defective, although I do appreciate your granting permission. You be their patsy, not me!
Another weak attempt at an ad hominem attack?
