Keane/Snow Patrol versions

New DVD-Audio music releases and talk about the latest players.

Would I be better off getting the SACDs or DVD-As? I know that the Snow Patrol release is down-rezed to 48/24 multi ch. and that the Keane is only 44.1/24 multi ch. and 44.1/16 stereo (why?). I'm more inclined to get a DVD-Audio player than SACD or universal, due to more popular music on DVD-A.
