rather than inventing fanciful notions based on bad physics, how about if you actually try and understand how an A/D converter works (in particular, the operation of the anti-aliasing decimation filter, which avoids the problem you are trying to create)and if you think my experiments are "incorrect", why don't you do your own in the "correct way", then you'll be able to judge for yourself what the true differences are between sampling rates/depth? like i said, don't be surprised if you find you can't reliably tell the difference.
or ... you can continue to shout to the world why you like 96kHz apples and invent notions about "beats" :-)
