Well, I have had this Panasonic RP91 DVD-A player for a couple of years now, and up until the last 2 weeks used it exclusively for DVD-Videos.I now have 2 DVD-A discs, and have not been blown away by the audio compared to CDs. They are Dianna Krall's Look of Love and SEAL IV. Yes there is a lot of bass and the vocals sound pretty good, but I have not noticed a great degree of image depth and soundstaging.
I was told on another board that the RP91 is an old design, and that the audio could be much better with a new player, possibly the Denon 2910.
Any experiences here, or recommendations? Thanks much.
