videophiles are all but universal in our agreement that faroudja's DCDi is *the* penultimate way of processing video. moreso than silicon image, which also makes fine processors, deinterlacers.nothing wrong with SI, but DCDi smooths out jaggies better than anything.
check out joe murphy's link below. that will tell you *everything* you need to know about quality video from a dvd-player. i used it for research when buying my 2nd prog-scan player and they were so very right on everything.
