But the point of DTS 96/24 is that it's marketed as a superior technology, better than full-rate "standard" DTS, and a reason to upgrade ones processor or receiver. This is the wool that DTS have pulled over everyone's eyes, and the fact that it's better than half-rate "standard" DTS isn't saying much.
