>> Just how much can really be fit on the DVD-5 side of a Dualdisc? Can DD 5.1, MLP 5.1, 3 videos and "extras" be crammed on there? <<Well, looking at the DVD-A of Mana "Suenos Liquidos" -- that's a single layer DVD-5 which has exactly 1 hour of 96kHz/24 bit MLP 5.1; plus MLP 96/24 2ch; plus DD 5.1; plus concert videos; plus lyrics and also credits etc.
. . . and AIX "Bucharest Session" classical discs are DVD-5, and contain about 50mins of music in 5.1 MLP @ 96/24; plus DVD-V (DAD) LPCM 2-ch at 96/24; plus DTS 5.1; plus DD 5.1.
So it would seem that for a one-hour music album, then a DVD-5 is ample space for all the extras (and if you take out the hirez 2-ch, then there's obviously a whole lot more space to free-up.
