I don't have a 563 but have read most of the posts. I know some of the early Toshiba models like the 4700 had trouble with certain DVD-A software. I bought my brother a 4800 and it would not play the DVD-A side of the AIX sampler. I vaguely remember having a problem with Randy Newman's "Little Criminals" on one player (perhaps my Samsung HD1000 but not sure since I've had many in an out of the system) where I got it to play but there was some trouble getting the menu up.
