Hey Dui,
Your subject line doesn't provide much info, but my 45a plays CD-R and CD-RWs. I've done it successfully with Audio CDs(full discs and compilations), MP3, VCD movies and photos, DD, and DTS tracks. The discs have to be burned following the cryptic instructions in the manual or the player won't recognize the data correctly. For example, CDROMs must be closed multisession (or no multisession), must be ISO 9660 level 2, etc.. I've used EAC, NERO and CloneCD for CD Audio discs; and for NERO for CD-ROM discs (mp3, VCD etc).
I really like being able to take media from my computer and play it on my main system. At higher bit rates, mp3 sound very good on the 45a. At least good enough for compilations of background music or to preview albums you might want to purchase. In other words, it might be worth investigating at little more.
best
