Want to upgrade to DVD-A

current system has 6 channels of amplification, with the effects channel unused since I have BIG full range speaker systems up front.
Getting two additional front effects speakers is no problem. However, I need cd/dvd player with built in decoding lest I start swapping out $$$$$ of well loved equipment.
Whats out there that people have used and liked?
