In general, my experience is that once you have a subscription to a magazine you will get an endless and relentless stream of requests for renewal that you are able make absolutely no sense of.

My guess is that Stereophile may be in line with general practices in the magazine industry.

It's annoying. If my wife didn't like her magazines, I would not order any at all.
