RE: I am sure Jim Austin is pleased you read Stereophile

To me, photo quality is important for two reasons:

1) Obviously, you can better see the product.

2) You actually know the magazine had the product. Go look up product reviews of ANY type and see how many use cheap stock photos. The other day I was looking at snowboard reviews and there was not one proper photo, but there were lots of opinions on them. I thought, "Did they even have the boards?"
