Most reviews of tubed gear is done with the stock tubes it came with. An exception lately would be amps that take different output tubes, KT88,KT150s etc.. I've seen a few reviews where they swapped out small signal tubes with others, usually hybrid amps, but that adds another variable.
That said, odds are that many if not most people buying this amp aren't going to do a lot tube rolling.
Not all tubes from China suck.
