Again, would you prefer that a reviewer use mid or lo-fi equipment to review something super high end that they may not be able to afford because they are low paid reviewers. I certainly couldn't even eat out once a month on what I get for my column, never mind afford great equipment, or more than one piece of a certain type to use for comparison purposes.
