I tried injecting some soul into my 7BSST2 monoblock pair by trying a couple tube preamps. It didn't help a lot. The Bryston had no soul and it didn't want one.

Bryston was borderline boring to me I suppose but it was the overly analytical, clinical, lean, clean, sound that had me wondering where it's soul went ;-)
