It may be true but up to the unfortunate merger under syndicate along the McIntosh crap and Sonos Farbergere joke at least the assembly, quality of construction and components (although industry standards ) were exemplary. Ref 75 Se is just a shadow of the real ARC, BUT it actually sounds competent and it could be cheap as chips to make in DIY form
