The ribbons are similar, so I don't think it's worth buying new speakers on that count alone.
However, the 20.7 is a better speaker overall, for any number of reasons. It's a dual magnet speaker -- that has several advantages, including lower harmonic distortion, higher output, and a more rigid driver that reduces unwanted resonances. It's all quasi ribbon (except of course for the true ribbon). It has a larger diaphragm and baffle for better bass (I don't think you need a subwoofer with this one unless you really like to push things).
