RE: Looking for technical drawings of Quad ESL-63

With your design I would be worried about the speaker being top heavy and unsteady. With the Crosby design the speaker base sits in a recess and the base can be filled with weight of some kind to stabilize it. This is how it was withe the built in subwoofer.
